Until All Have Heard...

The purpose of an Online MTS Facilitator is to walk alongside our online students as they study, process and apply the courses in GFM’s Online Missionary Training School. Facilitators monitor and coach students through their studies and grade all assignments and papers. This role is part-time with a small stipend. The role is remote and entirely online, and completing the course is required.

Qualifications

• Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith and identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
• Must have demonstrated experience in cross-cultural work and community outreach; missions experience preferred
• Must have completed GFM’s Missionary Training School (onsite or online) or other similar training
• Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others
• Must display advanced interpersonal and communication skills (Gmail, Slack, etc.)
• Must function well both independently and in a team environment
• A college degree is preferred
• Must have internet access

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor students’ progress weekly
• Maintain records of all communication with students
• Grade all assignments and papers within a week of submission
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and papers
• Meet with students at the completion of each module in a live video setting to discuss their progress before they proceed to the next module
• Be committed to providing support for students in the virtual classroom
• Participate in monthly team meetings, training, staff reports and check ins
• Coach people through their next steps in missions
